4th of July Nude Peace Parade - Ashland, Oregon - 2008

EarthFriendJen, also known as "The Pastie Lady" for her almost-nude public protests in Ojai, California is promoting an expanded awareness about the harm people are thoughtlessly wrecking on planet earth. Here is her naked message about the day of demonstration and celebration she is organizing:

Hi! I'm Jennifer Moss, EarthFriendJen, and I love life! I'm putting together a Peace Parade as part of the 4th of July Parade here in Ashland, Oregon where there are no public nudity laws... except for a downtown ordinance, so we only have to cover our genitals! I'll just be wearing a hemp g-string in the name of peace and legalizing hemp, the real American fabric of our lives! The theme of the parade is: Commitment to Community. Join us in marching for peace with signs and holding hands, with drummers and hoopers, etc. It will be awesome!!! I live in a big one bedroom/dance studio and I can accommodate up to 30 conscious and compassionate folks. (Besides many motels and hotels, there is a hostel in town and camping at the Jackson Wellsprings/hotsprings.) Afterwards, there will be a Potluck Party in the park where you can be completely nude. The event will be recorded and everyone will need to sign a release. We're producing a free promotional video called, "America's Birthday Suit." I hope many people join in the name of peace, liberty, diversity, and celebrating life! It's a Peace Parade. Peace begins with ourselves and an integral part of ourselves is our bodies. Power to the Peaceful!
