This page is for people who have modeled before or want to try nude modeling and are attracted to that aspect of Photozella. The full scope of what we are doing is explained on our home page and other pages on this website.I am encouraging a loose candid style of shooting depicting activities of various kinds. The photos on this page were selected to give you an idea of some of the more formal images that have been created over the last few Photozella outings (and for some reason this tends to be just women! Lets change that!).
Along with your fee, your primary benefit as a model is that you will obtain a wide selection of images of yourself to expand your portfolio. You will also meet new people including photographers which could lead to more work.
“How do Photozella shoots work?”
Most of our outings are small groups of 5 to 10 people (which includes one or two more photographers along with me). Normally I pay a flat fee of $200 to each model/participant. My "official photographers" do not get paid, but they are considered participants as well. If you are a model, you can shoot a few pictures as well, as long as you follow the agreement guidelines. There are exceptions to this payment plan: it is possible that I will call for a larger group and only pay $100; it is possible that a special outing is voluntary only because the activity is not really about the photography. Also there is the large Main Event, which does not pay but will have the most people and more planned games, activities and sports, etc.But most shoots do pay $200, and the theme, objective and tone of each outing could be quite unique. Some trips may appeal to you, others perhaps not. I will, of course, give you all the details when I offer a shoot to you. At that point I will probably already have a good idea of your preferences and will match you to projects that are suitable for you.
You will be taken care of you during the day. We have food, drink, props, sunscreen, first aid, extra towels, hats, etc available. You will have time to relax, have fun, explore, and get to know people.
Some days I will shoot some video along with photos but you would be informed of this in advance.
Photographers submit all their photos to me within a few days of the shoot. Then, over the coming weeks and months I select and process the images (color-correct, crop, clear pimples, etc) and then make the best images available to you to download in full resolution from a secure website.
“Photozella is Different/Better”
If you have done conventional nude modeling before, you know the usual way the gig happens: You meet the photographer, you discuss what you are going to shoot, then when ready you disrobe and pose in position for the clothed Photographer. When taking a break you will put on a robe and wait until you can resume work. That is not what happens at a Photozella shoot.It is quite different in some ways...
✓ It is a group of people, so you do not have to worry about being alone, naked with a clothed person you are not sure about.
✓ Have you ever been turned down because you have tatoos or because you did not meet the photographers ideal of the perfect skinny busty female? None of that is an issue at Photozella.
✓ Everyone is naked including the photographers. The overall theme of the Photozella project is about the normalization of the nude body, so we all spend the whole day nude (unless it is too cold).
✓ Photographs may be taken at any time, not just formally and deliberately. The entire outing is part of what we photograph. So from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, some photos will be shot.
✓ You should not be worried about looking exactly right and perfect in every image. We have a more casual idea about what is beautifully human, though we do some retouching of the finished images (those darn pimples!).
✓ A lot of shooting is likely to be done with models in groups. There may be some physical contact, but inappropriate touching is not permitted at any time by anyone. Nothing sexual is allowed at a Photozella outing and nothing sexual will ever be asked of you. You will not be required to do anything you are not comfortable with.
“Can I use the Photos on my Website?”
Yes you can use any of the images on your portfolio website.If you have your own commercial membership website, and you could use some photos of yourself to augment your content, we can do a shoot with you at some point during the day. It has to be formally arranged and a specific photographer will be assigned to you for this. There is no cost to you. Other images shot throughout the day may not be used on your website, certainly not images of other people.
“What Else do I Need to Know?”
If you are worried that you do not have prior experience or "the right looks" I can tell you that you are welcome to apply. I just want you to be yourself!You can find more detailed information about photo use, proposed dates, video shoots, etc on the other site pages. If you want to participate, your first step is to complete the simple application form. But you should read everything else on the website first. Please go to page 1 and page 2 unless you are already familiar with all the details.
